Two American tourists heliskiing near Revelstoke, B.C. were killed in an avalanche Monday afternoon.
The skiers were clients of Canadian Mountain Holidays, and are being identified as Tim and John Kinsley; brothers from York Pennsylvania. The two men were completely buried in the slide, while a ski guide with more than two decades of experience was also partially buried and remains in hospital in stable condition.
Officials say that conditions may actually get worse as the week progresses, and Avalanche Canada is warning people to exercise extreme caution when heading out into the back country. Aaron McArthur reports.
