Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said on Wednesday that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu would be remembered historically as 'the butcher of Gaza'.

Speaking in parliament, Erdogan said all those who support Netanyahu unconditionally had an equal blame.

Turkey, which supports a two-state solution to the decades-old conflict, has strongly criticized Israel for its ground and air assault on Gaza. Turkey does not view Hamas as a terrorist group.
