Members of Turkey's military patrolled various cities, including Hatay and Iskenderun, on Sunday amid looting concerns in earthquake-impacted regions, with business owners and residents saying their merchandise and belongings have been taken.

Business owners in Hatay were seen packing boxes full of their merchandise in an effort to prevent the stock from being stolen by looters, though some were unsure where they would move the items to for protection.

Shop owner Yuksel Uzun said he had seen supermarkets, pharmacies and other businesses broken into, adding that while there were enough security forces in the city at the moment, there weren't in the first few days following the Monday earthquake.
