On Wednesday, U.S. President Donald Trump became the first president to be impeached twice – and this time, the vote drew bipartisan support.
Ten Republican members of the House of Representatives joined Democrats in impeaching Trump on a single charge of “incitement of an insurrection” related to the deadly riot at the U.S. Capitol last week.
Trump has only seven more days in office before Inauguration day, at which point Joe Biden will become president.
Jackson Proskow explains what this means for Trump, and what comes next as the process moves to the Senate.
