Town cut off as Britain is battered by more heavy rain

The Gloucestershire town of Tewkesbury is one of many areas struggling to cope with serious flooding.

More heavy rain on Thursday evening is expected to exacerbate the situation across southern parts of England.

Hundreds of flood warnings are in place ahead of what is expected to be the final soaking before clearer and colder weather arrives by the weekend.
