Friends of a well-known and loved Toronto metal fan are adding to the voices calling for change to Ontario's health-care system after the 45-year-old man died despite him allegedly visiting an area hospital three times in 10 days before his death.

According to his friend John Romanelli, the last time he saw Walter Froebrich was three weeks before his death and he noted the man had lost a lot of weight and was complaining about serious abdominal pain. A few days after that, Froebrich was at the hospital dealing with severe abdominal pains. His friends claim he was denied admission, and said he was sent home with antibiotics.

As Ahmar Khan reports, his friends say the hospital "dropped the ball," but that Froebrich is just one case of what is being seen in the province's health-care system.
