A Toronto cyclist is speaking out after a road rage incident where a driver was heard yelling profanities and homophobic slurs.

“It was incredibly upsetting,” cyclist Dafydd Hughes said of the incident.

The incident was captured on camera and shows the cyclist moving into the centre lane avoid a vehicle that was parking. As the cyclist returns to the curb lane, the video shows it being cut off by a red car before an altercation ensues.

Erica Vella reports on the incident and why it has advocates calling for better cycling infrastructure.
