United Nations aid agencies voiced alarm on Tuesday at the scale of the ongoing operation in the West Bank town of Jenin, where at least ten Palestinians have been killed, and said there were restrictions on medical access.

"We are alarmed at the scale of air and ground operations that are taking place in Jenin in the occupied West Bank, and airstrikes hitting a densely populated refugee camp," Vanessa Huguenin, a spokesperson for the UN humanitarian office, told a briefing.

She said three children were among those killed, without providing further details.

Plus, in the Jenin refugee camp, Husnia Barakat, who left her home with other family members, said that the situation is not safe inside the camp.

"They told us to leave the houses and keep them open. We left our clothes, things, money inside the houses," she said, "They brought us to the hospital."

This is the continuation of the biggest Israeli army operation in 20 years, and it forced residents of Jenin refugee camp to flee on Monday night.
