Two of Delhi's top hospitals -- Max and Ganga Ram -- have reported that their oxygen supplies will last for just a few hours. The crunch comes as Delhi struggles to cope with an unprecedented daily surge that reached 32,000 last evening. On the Delhi government alleging discrimination by the Centre in resources for Covid, the High Court said today that if medication was not being sent to places that needed them, "blood is on their hands". As the Delhi government said it had logged a record 32,000 cases in a single day yesterday, the High Court also raised questions on the centre's distribution policy on oxygen and vaccines. India's capital reported its highest covid deaths ever on Monday. Maharashtra today ordered tougher measures to fight Covid, saying groceries, vegetable shops and dairies will be open only for four hours and home delivery will not be allowed after 8 pm; and other top stories.
