Top earners £10k better off following tax cuts

One group of people likely to be celebrating the news from Number 11 are those working in the City - after the Chancellor scrapped the cap on bankers' bonuses imposed back in 2014.

And the scrapping of the top income tax rate of 45p will save the top 1% of earners £10,000 on average.
