Toddler rescued from rubble 65 hours after deadly earthquake in Turkey

Video captured the moment rescuers saved a 3-year-old child from under the rubble of an apartment 65 hours after a strong earthquake on Monday collapsed multiple buildings in Izmir, Turkey.

Elif Perincek, who was trapped with her mother and three siblings, was pulled out alive by the search and rescue teams under their apartment which was demolished by the quake.

Perincek waved to the cameras as she recovered in hospital.

So far, 76 people have lost their lives and 962 were injured after a 6.9 magnitude quake hit the western Turkish town of Izmir.
