Therese Coffey: 'I trust the Prime Minister'

Therese Coffey, the work and pensions secretary, is backing Boris Johnson ahead of the confidence vote.

She said: "I'm conscious that other people have decided they think another leader will be the best way forward.

"I don't agree with them, I'm supporting the Prime Minister. I mean I do work with him on a regular basis. I trust the Prime Minister."
