The gamer suspected of 'blowing a hole in US national security'

Jack Teixeira, 21, was arrested on Thursday over the disclosure of highly classified US military documents, believed to have started on the servers of the social media app Discord.

Known as a "quiet kid", he appeared in a court in Boston on Friday, when he was charged and ordered to remain in custody.

Discord said it was cooperating with the bureau, according to an FBI affidavit unsealed on Friday.
