In 2001, foot-and-mouth disease destroyed farms and devastated rural communities in the biggest outbreak the world has seen - and it probably began with just one single shipment of tainted meat. If the disease were ever to hit Australia's shores, the horrific scenes of animal slaughter witnessed throughout Britain would happen here. Reporter Liz Hayes visited the village at the centre of the epidemic, and what she saw there was truly heartbreaking.
