The Daily Climate Show: Renewables overtake gas as top source of electricity for UK homes

Renewable sources of energy produced enough power for all of the UK’s homes this winter, cutting gas demand by a third.

It means the country is less reliant on gas imports, which would have been over 22% higher without the renewable power.
