But the cost for in vitro fertilization (IVF) is rising across Canada, according to experts and a Global News analysis. And with inflation, that’s put more pressure on Canadians hoping to grow their families.

One cycle of IVF costs around $20,000 on average and many woman require more than one cycle to get pregnant.
