Taliban spokesman Mujahid confirms takeover of Panjshir province

Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid, in a news conference on Monday, said the group has taken over Panjshir province.
Mujahid said the resistance forces gave "negative answers" when the Taliban tried to negotiate, adding that no civilian casualties were reported in the takeover of Panjshir.
“With this victory, our country is completely taken out of the quagmire of war,” Mujahid said.
