Supreme Court's Landmark Judgement: Abortion At 24 Weeks

The Supreme Court of India, in a landmark judgement, recently permitted an unmarried woman to abort her pregnancy at 24 weeks. A bench of Justices DY Chandrachud, Surya Kant, and AS Bopanna said that the petitioner should not be denied the benefit of the law merely on the ground that she is an unmarried woman.
