In Karachi, Pakistan, supporters of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party protested election results on Sunday, alleging that their mandate had been stolen.
“Our mandate has been stolen. We were winning with a two-thirds majority. PTI was winning across Pakistan with a two-third majority, but they stole our mandate," said Muneeza Kamran, a polling agent for a PTI candidate.
“This is a protest against those forces that do not accept public opinion and think they can impose their decisions on the public,” a protestor said.
