Divers in Sudan are working to pull thousands of sheep carcasses from waters off its Red Sea coast.
The vessel, Al Badr 1, was carrying nearly 16,000 head of livestock for export from Sudan to Saudi Arabia when it sank. Several thousand more animals were loaded on board than it was meant to carry, officials said.
Rescuers are intensifying efforts to remove the remains of the animals to prevent an environmental disaster.

Al Jazeera’s Hiba Morgan reports from Suakin in the Sudanese Red Sea state.
