The water level of the Duhok Dam in Iraq dropped significantly following a particularly dry season. As a consequence, a lost village has reemerged from underneath the water. It’s believed to be the village of ‘Gary Qasruka’ – which was flooded back in 1985 in order to make way for the dam.
