Sudan’s army chief has branded the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) a rebellious group and ordered it be dissolved, as the paramilitary group continued battling the army in the capital and across the country for a third day.
Explosions rocked Khartoum on Monday, with the civilian death toll rising to at least 97 people and residents hunkering down in their homes reporting electricity outages and incidents of looting.
