Military analyst Sean Bell says it's difficult to know how well the Sudan evacuation is going due to 2,000 people being registered to leave and complexities on the ground.

There is a "balance of risks" around extending the length of time that the air bridge out of Sudan operates, with the ultimate decision being a political one rather than military, he said.
