Hundreds of people took to the streets of #Santiago on Saturday to protest over police's fatal shooting of a street juggler the day before.

Police were seen deploying water cannons on protesters gathered in the city's Plaza Nunoa.

Protesters were seen rallying behind a banner reading 'street art is not a crime,' as rallies took place in cities across #Chile.

The shooting took place Friday in the southern Chile town of Panguipulli. The shooting reportedly occurred after the juggler did not cooperate with a police search.

The officer involved in the shooting was detained while investigation in the incident proceeds, according to reports citing police.
