Starmer pushed on council funding crisis

Political editor Beth Rigby questions Sir Keir Starmer about council funding, as one in five council bosses warn they are likely to go bankrupt in the next 15 months.

Sir Keir says Labour needs to work "very hard" to win a general election, given the size of the swing.

He later says there is "scope for different kinds of funding settlements" but does not commit to additional funding saying "I can't pretend we can turn the taps on".
