The South Korean island of Jeju is testing a tech-based traffic system for self-driving cars, thanks to its use of 5G internet.
The cars, linked through a "smart grid"" will be able to pass information between them and to a centralised control system.
And it is designed to monitor traffic flows and prevent accidents.
Al Jazeera’s Rob McBride reports from Jeju island, South Korea.
