South Korea's president Yoon Suk-yeol has declared a period of national mourning, a day after the death of at least 150 people in a crowd crush.
The victims were mostly people in their twenties and were celebrating Halloween in Seoul.
Thousands of people were caught in the crush when they entered a narrow alley in the bar and restaurant district of Itaewon in central Seoul on Saturday night.
President Yoon visited the scene, saying his administration would come up with measures to prevent such accidents from ever happening again.
