31 people have been killed in a methane gas explosion in a disused gold mine in South Africa.
The incident happened more than over a month ago in the city of Welkom, but details are just coming out now. The bodies still remain underground.
The miners were reportedly working illegally and are from neighbouring Lesotho meaning it took weeks for their families to report them missing.
