'So excited to hug son': Mum of rescued Gaza hostage calls for deal to release others

The mother of one of the freed Gaza hostages says she was "so excited to hug him" following his rescue by Israeli forces.

Speaking at a news conference, Orit Meir the mother Almog Meir, called for a deal to release all the other 120 hostages being held in Gaza by Hamas.

Her son was one of four rescued by Israeli forces in a daylight operation which the Hamas-run government says killed over 200 Palestinians.
