A heat wave is leaving Canadians in Ontario and Quebec baking under temperatures of more than 30 C.

Though it's not summer just yet, students in the provinces are still in school and that means some are sweating it out in classrooms — some in buildings without air conditioning.

The heat may have parents and caregivers wondering if they should keep their kids home during the heat. But as Sean Previl reports, experts suggest talking to teachers about what their school is doing to keep kids cool and safe.
