A petition to save the free school lunches was presented to Parliament today after the Government said it would be reviewing the programme.

Ka Ora, Ka Ako was established in 2019 to address hunger and poor nutrition in the classroom but there are concerns its funding could be slashed by up to 50%.

David Seymour insists big savings can be made while still getting meals to the kids who need them most.
