Shell of US Chopper Found in Syria Following Raid on ISIS Leader

The burned-out remains were spotted in the Syrian city of Afrin following the US Special Forces mission which took out IS leader Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Qurayshi.

US officials confirmed the success of the mission, claiming the overnight operation lasted two hours with President Biden revealing that Qurayshi blew himself and family members up mid-raid.

The Pentagon claimed the MH-60 Black Hawk chopped landed due to a maintenance issue before being rigged by US troops for demolition as it couldn’t make the return flight safely.
