At least two people were killed as severe storms swept across the eastern U.S. on Monday.
In Alabama, a 28-year-old man died after being struck by lightning, and in South Carolina, a 15-year-old boy died when he was struck by a fallen tree.
The storms spawned tornado watches and warnings in 10 states from Tennessee to New York, with more than 29.5 million people under a tornado watch Monday afternoon.
