Senior doctors' strike: 'It's time to put patients first', says Health Secretary Steve Barclay

Health Secretary Steve Barclay has said "it's time for consultants to call off the strike" and that "we have listened to the independent pay review body recommendations".

Senior doctors in England along with hospital-based dentists will strike over pay from 7am on Thursday until 7am on Saturday.
