Health Secretary Steve Barclay has spoken to Sky News about the NHS workforce plan, and described it as the "biggest ever expansion in workforce training" in the history of the health service.

Mr Barclay refused to accept the government had been guilty of "short-termism" and failed to answer why the plan has taken so long.
