Secret Service director resigns after Trump assassination attempt

The director of the Secret Service Kimberly Cheatle has resigned following the assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump.

It comes after Ms Cheatle admitted to Congress that her agency had it's "most significant operational failure" in decades.
