Sophia Loren is beyond celebrity - she is a legend; a Hollywood icon whose femininity, beauty and fame have beguiled the world for more than 40 years. But as Charles Wooley found when he met Sophia, the great screen queen's moods can be just a little regal and a little capricious. Sophia made a career of acting the part of the smouldering Latin, a woman as sultry as a storm at sea. And so it can be in real life. One moment it's fair weather, next the storm clouds roll in with a bat of those famous feline eyes. She's 62 now and while time hasn't mellowed Sophia, nor has it faded her charms.
