There was a time, not so long ago, when if you looked up, chances were you’d see a flying kangaroo soaring by. Then, COVID struck. Immediately, the ‘roo went on the endangered list. After that, things got even worse. Extinction became a very real possibility. Thousands of employees were stood down, thousands more lost their jobs completely. Billions of dollars of revenue evaporated. It was difficult to watch an icon suffer. But from tomorrow, when you look up, the skies will be busier the battle to save the flying ‘roo is being won.
