Saskatchewan election 2020: Scott Moe, Ryan Meili speak after result declared | HIGHLIGHTS

Saskatchewan Party Leader Scott Moe and NDP Leader Ryan Meili each spoke following the announcement of a fourth-consecutive majority for Moe's party on Monday in the province's general election.

Moe said he was happy with the results of the 2020 provincial election that returned his Saskatchewan Party to a fourth-consecutive majority, saying the party was “humbled” by the support and they planned to build a “strong Saskatchewan for everyone.”

Meili said it was an “exciting campaign” and that the election is about “what we can achieve together" and he would continue to voice his opinions to Moe as would the party in the legislature.

The victory was Moe's first as leader, who took over the party from former premier Brad Wall in 2018.
