According to the announcement made in the interim budget, a day before the end of the budget session, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has presented a white paper on the Indian economy in the Lok Sabha. The white paper attacks the stagnation of economic growth, allegations of corruption and lack of investor confidence during the tenure of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh from 2004 to 2014. In the white paper, the government has told how 10 years ago in 2014, when the NDA government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi came to power, it found the economy in a very critical condition. Public finances were in a bad state, economic management was in bad shape, financial indiscipline was rampant and corruption was rampant. The confidence of investors investing in India had been shaken. In such a situation, after the formation of the government, the biggest challenge before the Modi government was to bring the economy back on track. And in the next 10 years, the Modi government has been successful in overcoming all the challenges of the pre-2014 period through its excellent economic management and governance. Due to right policies, intentions and appropriate decisions, today India has started on the path of high economic development.
अंतरिम बजट में किए गए एलान के मुताबिक बजट सत्र के खत्म होने के एक दिन पहले वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने लोकसभा में भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था को लेकर श्वेत पत्र पेश कर दिया है. श्वेत पत्र में पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री मनमोहन सिंह के 2004 से 2014 के कार्यकाल में आर्थिक विकास के ठप्प पड़ने, भ्रष्टाचार के आरोपों के साथ निवेशकों के भरोसे में कमी को लेकर हमला बोला गया है. श्वेत पत्र में सरकार ने बताया है कि कैसे 10 साल पहले 2014 में प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के नेतृत्व वाली एनडीए सरकार सत्ता में आई तो उसे अर्थव्यवस्था बेहद नाजुक हालत में मिली थी. पब्लिक फाइनेंस बुरी अवस्था में था, आर्थिक मैनेजमेंट का बुरा हाल था, वित्तीय अनुशासनहीनता व्याप्त थी साथ ही भ्रष्टाचार का तब बोलबाला था. भारत में निवेश करने वाले निवेशकों का भरोसा डगमगा चुका था. ऐसे में सरकार बनने के बाद मोदी सरकार के सामने अर्थव्यवस्था को पटरी पर लाने की सबसे बड़ी चुनौती थी. और अगले 10 सालों में 2014 से पहले की अवधि की सभी चुनौतियों पर अपने शानदार इकोनॉमिक मैनेजमेंट और गवर्नेंस के जरिए मोदी सरकार उसपर पार पाने में सफल रही है. सही नीतियों, नीयत और उचित फैसलों के चलते आज की तारीख में भारत उच्च आर्थिक विकास की राह पर चल पड़ा है
