Opposition parties had started preparations for the Lok Sabha elections 2024 long ago. To oust the BJP led NDA alliance from power, all the opposition parties came together and formed the I.N.D.I.A alliance. However, there were differences between all the parties regarding seat sharing and the alliance seemed to be breaking before the election date was announced. Now things are going well in the opposition alliance and after UP, talks on seat sharing seem to be taking place in Delhi, Gujarat and Haryana also. The issue of seat sharing in the opposition alliance was first resolved in Uttar Pradesh. Here Congress Party agreed to contest elections on 17 seats and Samajwadi Party got 63 seats. After Congress talks with Akhilesh, talks can be held on seat sharing with Arvind Kejriwal also. If this happens, West Bengal will be the only state where Congress will have to resolve the issue of seat sharing.
लोकसभा चुनाव 2024 के लिए विपक्षी दलों ने काफी पहले तैयारी शुरू कर दी थी. बीजेपी की अगुआई वाले एनडीए गठबंधन को सत्ता से बाहर करने के लिए सभी विपक्षी दल साथ आए थे और I.N.D.I.A गठबंधन बना था. हालांकि, सीट शेयरिंग को लेकर सभी दलों के बीच अनबन हुई और चुनाव की तारीख का एलान से होने से पहले गठबंधन टूटता दिख रहा था. अब विपक्षी गठबंधन में चीजें ठीक हो रही हैं और यूपी के बाद दिल्ली, गुजरात और हरियाणा में भी सीट शेयरिंग पर बात बनती दिख रही है.विपक्षी गठबंधन में सीट शेयरिंग का मसला सबसे पहले उत्तर प्रदेश में सुलझा. यहां कांग्रेस पार्टी 17 सीटों पर चुनाव लड़ने के लिए राजी हो गई और समाजवादी पार्टी को 63 सीटें मिली. अखिलेश के साथ कांग्रेस की बात बनने के बाद अरविंद केजरीवाल के साथ भी सीट शेयरिंग पर बात बन सकती है. ऐसा होने पर सिर्फ पश्चिम बंगाल ही ऐसा राज्य रह जाएगा, जहां कांग्रेस को सीट शेयरिंग का मुद्दा सुलझाना होगा.
