The memorial of 1962 war hero Major Shaitan Singh has been demolished due to the buffer zone created on the Line of Actual Control (LAC). Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has reacted regarding this. Taking aim at the government, he said that by demolishing the memorial of Shaitan Singh, BJP has once again given proof to the country of being a fake patriot. He said that the news of the demolition of the memorial of Major Shaitan Singh, the brave son of Mother India, awarded with Param Vir Chakra and the great hero of 1962 Rezang-La war, located in Chushul, Ladakh, is extremely painful. He made a sharp attack on the Prime Minister in a poetic style. And said, "You turned a blind eye to China, insulted every drop of sacrifice of the brave men!" Kharge said that according to reports, has this been done because after talks with China, the buffer zone has now come within Indian territory? He asked why there have been 20 meetings between PM Modi and Xi Jinping since 2014 till date. Even after this, the Modi government has failed to ensure that India maintains the status quo on Depsang Plain, Pangong Tso, Demchowk and Gogra-Hotspring area as before May 2020?
वास्तविक नियंत्रण रेखा (LAC) पर बने बफर जोन की वजह से 1962 युद्ध के नायक मेजर शैतान सिंह का स्मारक ध्वस्त कर दिया गया है. इसको लेकर कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष मल्लिकार्जुन खरगे ने प्रतिक्रिया दी है. उन्होंने सरकार पर निशाना साधते हुए कहा कि बीजेपी ने शैतान सिंह के मेमोरियल को धराशायी कर देश को एक बार फिर से अपने फर्जी देशभक्त होने का सबूत दिया है. उन्होंने कहा कि भारत माता के वीर सपूत, परम वीर चक्र से सम्मानित और 1962 रेजांग-ला युद्ध के महानायक मेजर शैतान सिंह के चुशूल, लद्दाख स्थित मेमोरियल को ध्वस्त किए जाने की खबर बेहद पीड़ादायक है.उन्होंने प्रधानमंत्री पर शायराना अंदाज में तीखा हमला बोला और कहा, "चीन पर लाल आंख तो ली मूंद, अपमानित की वीर जांबाजों के बलिदान की हर बूंद!" खरगे ने कहा कि खबरों के मुताबिक क्या यह इसलिए किया गया है, क्योंकि चीन के साथ बातचीत के बाद से अब बफर जोन भारतीय क्षेत्र में आ गया है?उन्होंने पूछा कि क्यों पीएम मोदी और शी जिंनपिग के 2014 से आजतक 20 मेल-मिलापों के बाद भी भारत को देपसांग प्लेन, पैंगोंग त्सो, डेमचौक और गोगरा-हॉटस्प्रिंग क्षेत्र पर मई 2020 के पहले की वस्तुस्थिति बरकरार रखवाने में मोदी सरकार विफल रही है?
