Rwanda: 'This government is stopping the boats', says home secretary

Home Secretary James Cleverly has outlined some of the government policies aiming to reduce the number of small boat crossings, adding that "deterrents work".

He blamed both domestic and international courts for frustrating the Rwanda scheme so far, but said the government respects court judgments "even when we disagree with them".
