Russian warships unleash massive response near Japan (Full show)

Japan is currently engaged in a number of territorial disputes, with neighboring countries including China, North Korea, South Korea and Russia. Russia has rejected a territorial claim by Japan and conducted military drills wherein Russia’s Pacific Fleet intercepted ten missiles as it deployed it’s highly sophisticated surface to air missile defense system. The disputed islands were seized by Soviet forces in the last days of World War II from the Axis-aligned Empire of Japan and been in Russian hands ever since. Russia has developed the islands with military infrastructure, including missile systems. RT’s Alex Mihailovich has the story. Then Peter Kuznick of American University shares his expertise. He points out that Japan is becoming increasingly hostile toward Russia and China as it draws closer to the US.

Plus, Sourabh Gupta of the China-America Institute joins Rick Sanchez to weigh in on the the recent US nuclear submarine crash in the South China Sea, through the lens of new revelations that the US Navy was conducting hydrographic studies of the area to prepare for the eventuality of submarine warfare with China.

Boeing has secured a contract to build new helicopters for the US Army despite its damaged reputation and the deadly laxness about safety measures that made the Boeing 737 MAX so infamous. It is just one of several multi-billion dollar contracts awarded to the manufacturing giant. Boeing and other defense contractors continue to receive billions while Congress debates cuts to needed social programs. RT America's Faran Fronczak reports.

The Metropolitan Police in the UK have ruled that they will no longer investigate sex abuse charges against Prince Andrew. They were investigating the royal over a civil suit filed by an accuser in the case of infamous pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, who was known to associate with Prince Andrew. He also talks about the deep antagonism alleged between the prince and his high-profile family. "Boom Bust" co-host and investigative journalist Ben Swann weighs in.
