Russian shelling and missile strikes hit the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv on Tuesday as the war by Russia on the eastern European country continues to rage on, leaving some homes on fire and other buildings reduced to rubble.
At least two homes were destroyed by a fire that came following the shellings, with one home owner saying there were two explosions that occurred the morning before the fire started.
In another part of the city, an employee at a pizzeria was left picking up rubble after the building was damaged by the strikes. According to local authorities, a high-rise residential building was also damaged, in addition to the pizza shop.
According to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov, at least three people were wounded due to the strikes.
