Relations between the United States and Russia have hit a new low.
In a tit-for-tat response to Washington's sanctions, Moscow has expelled 10 diplomats and banned some former and current officials.
It came a day after the Biden administration imposed similar measures, accusing Russia of election interference and cyberattacks.
