Russia strikes cities across Ukraine as NATO holds excercises in the North Atlantic | DW News

Russia has targeted cities across Ukraine in its latest wave of drone attacks. Once again air raid sirens sounded in Kyiv as the capital came under fire. Drones also struck a university campus in the Black Sea port city of Odesa. And in the frontline Kherson region, Russian shelling hit civilian infrastructure killing and wounding dozens.
We often hear that the Russian invasion of Ukraine has transformed NATO military thinking. In the last two weeks proof of that has been playing out in the form joint exercises in the high north. Warships, aircraft and submarines from ten NATO countries have been training together. DW's Alexandra von Nahmen reports.
