In Ukraine, Kyiv has just endured Russia's largest drone attack of the conflict yet. For hours, more than 50 Iranian-made drones rained down on the city, according to defence officials.

This strike comes as the city marks an important anniversary of its founding and as Ukraine draws closer to its highly-anticipated counteroffensive.

As Global's Touria Izri reports, most were shot down, but one person was killed in the attack.
