Kyiv's allies slammed Russia for chairing a UN Security council meeting about protecting the United Nations charter, which it violated by invading Ukraine.
Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said the world was reaching a dangerous threshold, but blamed the west for the state of affairs. Before the meeting, Lavrov said the UN was facing a quote 'profound crisis'. He blamed the US and made accusations of economic aggression.
