Russia has accused Ukraine of attempting an overnight drone attack on the Kremlin in a failed bid to kill President Vladimir Putin.

Video posted on a group for Russian residents of a neighborhood that faces the Kremlin across the Mosvka River reportedly shows the moment a drone attack aimed at the Kremlin in Moscow, Russia, on May 2, 2023.

The video was picked up by Russian media, including the Telegram channel of the military news outlet Zvezda.

Separately, the Kremlin said that the May 9 Victory Day parade would go ahead in Moscow despite the incident, the state-run TASS news agency reported.
